Pri dvoch silných zemetraseniach v Turecku a Sýrii zomrelo v pondelok minimálne 1600 ľudí.
Medzi obeťami je aj 28-ročný brankár Ahmet Eyüp Türkaslan z druholigového tureckého tímu Yeni Malatyaspor.
Medzi nezvestnými pod troskami skončil aj bývalý futbalista Chelsea a Newcastlu Christian Atsu.
Bývalý reprezentant Ghany pritom ešte včera rozhodol v 97. minúte z priameho kopu o triumfe Hataysporu nad Kasimpasom v najvyššej tureckej súťaži.
Pod troskami mal skončiť aj športový riaditeľ klubu Taner Savut. Po oboch majú aktuálne pátrať záchranné zložky. Informáciu priniesol na Twitteri novinár Yağız Sabuncuoğlu.
